    Denmark: Recession a one-off
    Exports should pull the Danish economy out of its temporary recession.

    Sweden: On a thin red line
    Growth is slowing but the Riksbank is expected to raise the repo rate to 2.75% by the end of 2011.

    Norway: Speeding up
    The economy is speeding up, with broad-based GDP growth on the back of better terms of trade.

    Finland: Fiscal austerity in the making
    Growth is getting stronger, making room for austerity measures.

    Global: Recovery hitting a soft patch
    Strong headwinds from higher oil prices, the Japanese earthquake and policy tightening in Asia are likely to cause another global growth scare.
