Danske Bank recognised as Primary Dealer in Irish Government bonds.
We are proud to announce that Danske Bank has been recognised as Primary Dealer in Irish Government bonds by the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) and the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE). Primary dealing will be undertaken by Danske Markets, the investment banking arm of Danske Bank Group which is present in Ireland through National Irish Bank.
Danske Markets has significant experience in trading European Government bonds and is already primary dealer in the major Nordic markets. The approval for primary dealership in Irish Government bonds is an important part of Danske Markets’ European government bond strategy to support the markets, in which we operate, and will enable clients to benefit from our local knowledge in Ireland.
